A Survey on Data Security and Privacy Protection Technology in Mobile Edge Computing Environment

Abstract
As an extension of cloud computing,mobile edge computing's core goal is to deploy computing,storage and network functions at the edge of the network closer to the end user.With its outstanding advantages in significantly reducing latency and effectively improving band-width utilization,mobile edge computing has attracted industry attention.However,its distributed architecture characteristics and strict real-time requirements also pose a series of severe challenges in terms of security and privacy protection.A comprehensive review of security and privacy issues in the mobile edge computing environment,and emphasis on the importance of interdisciplinary cooperation.First,the concept and characteristics of mobile edge computing are explained,and its differences from traditional cloud computing and its impact on modern ap-plications are compared;Secondly,discuss the evolution of mobile edge computing architecture and its relationship with security measures,and sort out the main application scenarios in recent years;Thirdly,further in-depth analysis of data security and privacy protection goals,threats and key coping strategies in mobile edge computing;Finally,a comprehensive discussion will be held on potential future issues and re-search directions.Security and privacy play a key role in the successful deployment of mobile edge computing.Continuous research and inter-disciplinary cooperation are needed to meet the changing challenges to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data and privacy.关键词
