Innovation and Practice of Brain-gut harmonization from the perspective of integrated tradi-tional Chinese and Western Medicine

Abstract
Brain-gut harmonization is an innovative diagnostic and therapeutic system rooted in the integration of Chinese and Western medicine.It systematically elucidates the bidirectional physiological and pathological connections between the brain and the gut by syn-thesizing the holistic concepts of visceral correlation and body-mind unity from TCM with the modern microbiota-gut-brain(MGB)axis theory.Targeting brain-gut co-morbidities,such as functional gastrointestinal disorders,neuropsychiatric diseases,and endocrine-metabolic disorders,this approach emphasizes multi-target,holistic intervention strategies to achieve coordinated regulation of brain-gut function,demonstrating significant clinical efficacy through multidimensional interventions.However,current research still faces challenges in theoretical integration,methodological convergence,and clinical translation.Future efforts should focus on constructing a novel integrated medical framework based on"disease-pattern-symptom-stage-biomarker",utilizing artificial intelligence to synthesize multi-dimensional data,and promoting high-quality clinical research.This will advance brain-gut harmonization theory from scientific validation to widespread clinical application,offering a new paradigm for managing refractory diseases.关键词
