A review of basic and clinical research progress on Erzhi Pill(二至丸)

Abstract
Erzhi Pill(二至丸,EZP),a classic traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)formula,consists of the medicinal couplet of Fructus Ligustri Lucidi and Herba Ecliptae.It is traditionally used to tonify the liver and kidney,nourish yin,and arrest bleeding.This review summarizes recent advances in both basic and clinical research on EZP.The basic research section covers its chemical constitu-ents,pharmacological activities,and mechanisms of action.The clinical research section discusses the application of EZP in the treat-ment of various systemic diseases,including those in gynecology,endocrinology,and dermatology.This review aims to provide a refer-ence for further development and rational clinical use of EZP.关键词
