中药学专业硕士学位论文选题分析及思考
Visualized analysis and reflections on thesis topic selection in professional master's programs of Chinese Materia Medica

Abstract
To analyze the topic selection characteristics of professional master's theses in Chinese Materia Medica(CMM)and provide insights for postgraduate education.A total of 1,914 professional master's theses in Master of Chinese Materia Medica(MCMM)from 2013 to 2024 were analyzed using CiteSpace knowledge mapping(KM).Hotspot analysis and cluster analysis were employed to examine research trends and topic distributions.The number of MCMM theses showed an overall increasing trend.Hotspot analysis revealed that quality evaluation was the most popular topic among MCMM theses.Cluster analysis showed that the main topics involve the study of new formulations of CMM,chemical components of CMM,bioactive functions of CMM,quality evaluation of CMM,botanical studies of CMM,and metabolic studies of CMM.The CMM master's program places a strong emphasis on research innovation,with a broad range of research areas,rich themes,and distinct hotspots,cultivating specialized MCMM talents.However,several practical issues remain,such as a disconnect between research content and industry needs,low conversion rates of thesis topics and research outcomes,and insufficient interdisciplinary collaboration.The selection of thesis topics for MCMM students should focus on industry surveys,choose research methods that align with industry practices,emphasize the representativeness of research data,and foster interdisciplinary col-laboration to contribute more valuable research outcomes to the Chinese medicinal industry.关键词
