摘要
Abstract
Atherosclerosis is a critical pathological basis of cardiovascular diseases, and the rupture of atherosclerotic plaques is a key event triggering acute myocardial infarction and stroke. In recent years, the mechanisms of inflammation and lipid metabolism in plaque formation and rupture have garnered widespread attention. On one hand, inflammatory responses drive plaque formation and undermine its stability;on the other hand, abnormalities in lipid metabolism directly affect the composition and stability of plaques.Current research reveals that these two mechanisms are not independent but rather intertwined and synergistic, collectively determining the biological fate of plaques. However, regarding the terminal event of plaque rupture, the relative contributions of these two mechanisms remain unclear to date, lacking systematic comparison and consensus. Therefore, this review aims to systematically investigate the roles of inflammation and lipid metabolism in the process of plaque rupture, analyze their intrinsic mechanisms and interrelationships, and, integrating the latest research advances, explore their potential for translation into clinical interventions,in order to provide new perspectives and directions for future research and therapeutic strategies in this field.关键词
