摘要
Abstract
With the continuous application of new technologies,intelligent ships are gradually becoming a trend in the global shipping industry.Compared with traditional vessels,intelligent ships exhibit greater autonomy in decision-making and maneuvering,enabling collision avoidance based on intelligent algorithms and other technologies rather than relying entirely on conventional seafarers.This poses a challenge to the rules governing ship collision liability under the traditional maritime legal framework.The newly revised Maritime Code of the People's Republic of China in 2025 has provided a strong response to the digital development of the shipping industry.With the increasing deployment of intelligent ships,the existing legal framework remains inadequate in addressing collisions involving such vessels,manifesting in difficulties such as ambiguous responsible parties,unclear principles of liability attribution,and gaps in the application of law.Therefore,it is imperative to clarify the subjects of liability in the context of intelligent ship collisions,improve a hierarchical and diversified system of liability principles,and establish a comprehensive and well-structured legal framework for collision liability involving intelligent ships.关键词
