Abstract
This paper focuses on the airflow organization design of a 450-person auditorium characterized by large space and high occupancy density.A variable air volume(VAV)all-air system with 30 swirl diffusers(diameter 500 mm)is proposed.The auditorium has an area of 536.65 m2 and a floor height of 9 m,adopting an upward supply and downward return airflow pattern.A three-dimensional CFD model is established using ANSYS FLUENT,incorporating the k-e turbulence model and thermal boundary conditions.Simulations are conducted to analyze temperature and velocity fields at occupied zones(Z=1.2 m,Z=2 m)and critical cross-sections(X=14 m,Y=14 m).Results indicate that the average temperature in the occupied zone ranges from 24 to 26.5 ℃,with airspeed below 0.5 m/s,meeting the thermal comfort requirements.However,the inner surfaces of east and west walls exhibit 2~3 ℃ higher temperatures due to external thermal loads,and localized airflow short-circuiting occurs near return vents.Optimization strategies include asymmetric diffuser arrangement,enhanced wall insulation,and repositioning of return vents.This study provides theoretical and practical insights for airflow design in large public buildings.关键词
