Integrated"healthy tree,canker scraping,and trunk drenching"strategy for comprehensive control of Valsa canker in'Korla Xiangli'pear

Abstract
As a characteristic and dominant forest fruit industry in Xinjiang,the'Korla Xiangli'pear has recently faced frequent occurrences of Valsa canker due to tree nutrient imbalance,extreme climate conditions,and combined damage from wood-boring pests such as Euzophera pyriella.Traditional control methods have shown limited efficacy and high recurrence rates,severely restricting the sustainable development of the industry.Through years of field experiments and practical experience,proposes a three-pronged integrated management system centered on"healthy tree cultivation as the foundation,multi round precise canker scraping as the core,and fungicidal trunk drenching as the supplement,with integrated pest and disease management as the key".This system enhances tree disease resistance fundamentally through nutritional regulation strategies such as"increasing potassium and controlling nitrogen",thoroughly eliminates pathogens via multiple rounds of precise scraping,and directly blocks the transmission pathway of E.pyriella by combining systemic insecticides with wound protection.Additionally,the technique of trunk drenching during the growing season systematically eradicates pathogens lurking in minor wounds and bark residues,establishing comprehensive protection.Furthermore,an integrated phenology-based management calendar has been developed,dynamically adjusted and seamlessly incorporated into routine orchard practices.Application results demonstrate that this approach significantly reduces the incidence and recurrence of canker,effectively restores and maintains tree vigor,and holds substantial practical importance for ensuring the healthy development of the'Korla Xiangli'pear industry.关键词
