Thoughts and practices on the optimization of apple variety structure in China Ⅳ:national land policies and the"one excellence and three improvements"program for apple industry in China
摘要
Abstract
Constrained by the national policy to maintain 1.8 billion mu of arable land,China's major apple-producing regions find it difficult to expand production by increasing cultivated area,so optimizing the existing stock is key to high-quality development.To address cultivar homogenization and orchard aging in China,it is necessary to further intensify renovation and upgrading of old orchards and to implement the"one excellence and three improvements program",namely structural optimization,increased yield,improved fruit quality and enhanced profitability.Structural optimization is a systemic task that includes diversification of cultivar composition,tree architectures adapted for mechanization,modernization of orchard infrastructure,and ecological improvement of soil structure.关键词
