摘要

Abstract

Laminaria japonica,a large economic brown algae,rich in various active substances such as polysaccharides,peptides,polyphenols,and ketones.As one of primary bioactive components within Laminaria japonica,Laminaria japonica polysaccharide(LJP)are natural plant-de-rived β-glucans.It has various physiological functions including enchancing immunity,antioxidant,antitumor,regulation of intestinal flora,and regulation of blood sugar and blood lipid.LJP has been applied in livestock and poultry production,it can contribute to maintain intestinal health,promote growth performance,enhance immunity,improve production and reproduct efficiency,and enhance the quality of animal-derived products.The extraction methods,biological characteristics and application in animal husbandry production of LJP were reviewed to provide ref-erence for further research and application promotion of its compound.
