Abstract
To enhance the brittleness and inadequate toughness of pure acrylic resin(ACR)hot stamping foils,in this paper,a highly elastic and flexible thermoplastic polyurethane(TPU)was incorporated into the ACR reaction system.The polymer monomer mixed solution was subsequently dropped into the TPU solution to form ACR/TPU semi-interpenetrating polymer networks(SIPN)with different TPU concentrations.Then,SIPN-based hot stamping foils and bronzing fabrics were prepared and subjected to structural and performance charac-terization.The results indicated that the semi-interpenetrating network structure of ACR/TPU demonstrated good compatibility,suggesting an amorphous structure.With 15%TPU,the glass transition temperature(Tg)of the SIPN decreased significantly from 34.8℃to-6.8℃,the elongation at break increased from 338%to 522%,and the toughness improved from 152 MJ/m3 to 252 MJ/m3.The SIPN-based hot stamping foils exhibited satis-factory adhesive strength between the color layer and the aluminum layer,with a peel strength of 5.9 N/m and a flexibility of 1 mm,successfully withstanding solvent wiping for 7~8 times.The SIPN-based bronzing fabric showed soap wash resistance and friction color fastness above levels 3~4,abrasion resistance at level 4,thereby meeting the performance standards for bronzing fabrics.关键词
