Design and Implementation of a Compact Storage and Download Terminal for Flight Control Systems DFTI Based on SoPC

Abstract
The flight control system outputs acquired data,control commands,and internal status through the digital flight test interface(DFTI)during operation.The general aviation airborne data recorder records only critical data due to limitations in bus bandwidth and storage capacity,making it impossible to capture all inter-mediate states data.To address this issue,a compact DFTI data storage/download terminal scheme based on an system on programmable chip(SoPC)architecture is proposed,achieving a high level of integration between software scheduling flexibility and hardware parallel processing.A dedicated USB control chip is employed for simplifying complex operations into command-response interactions and reducing resource consumption.It also features intelligent mode recognition,automatically switching between data recording and downloading.Addi-tionally,it integrates fault isolation and exception handling mechanisms to enhance safety and reliability.The terminal has a size of 40 mm×50 mm and a weight of 17 g.The solution has been validated through both labo-ratory and flight testing,demonstrating that the terminal data recording is complete and accurate,with good compatibility,meeting the requirements for flight control data recording and downloading,which possesses the potential for promotion and application in other airborne systems.关键词
