The Subjective and Objective Influence Mechanism of Place Attachment in Guangfu Historical Districts:A Machine Learning Analysis Based on Shawan Ancient Town

Abstract
Historical blocks carry cultural memory and vitality,with Cantonese villages as typical representatives due to their history and unique landscapes.This paper analyzes the influence mechanisms of neighborhood characteristics and visitor behavior on place attachment from subjective and objective dimensions.By examining the 2D/3D morphological place attachment mechanism of Guangzhou's Shawan Ancient Town,it identifies four key indicators of perception,physical attributes,business formats,and behavior,and quantifies their impact weights through correlation analysis and random forest modeling.The findings reveal a significant correlation between neighborhood place parameters and place attachment levels.For neighborhood renewal and preservation,the paper recommends prioritizing spatial perception and behavioral interaction design.Preserving the traditional elements while integrating the adapted new business formats can enhance place attachment.This paper provides valuable insights for the renewal of Guangfu village historic districts and the place attachment studies.关键词
