Green and Efficient Open-field Cultivation Techniques for Processing-type Chili Peppers in the Longdong Rain-fed Dryland Areas

Abstract
Processing-type chili peppers,characterized by their strong storage and transportation resistance,high economic add-ed values after processing,and stable market demand,have become one of the leading industries in promoting agricultural and rural eco-nomic development and increasing farmers'income in the region.Based on the climatic features and production realities of Qingyang City,this study summarizes green and efficient open-field cultivation techniques for processing-type chili peppers through the imple-mentation of serial research projects.This study covers aspects such as regional layout and variety selection,pre-germination prepara-tion,seedling cultivation,land selection,land preparation and fertilization,ridge formation and film mulching,transplanting,post-trans-planting management,green pest and disease control,as well as harvesting and post-harvest processing.The aim of this study is to pro-vide technical support for the high-quality development of the processing-type chili pepper industry in Longdong rain-fed dry land area.关键词
