Azimuth deviation of seismometers in Heilongjiang Seismic Network based on the tangential energy minimum method

Abstract
The accuracy of seismic station azimuths is crucial for earthquake monitoring and research,as azimuth deviations directly affect the interpretation of seismic waveforms and scientific analysis of earthquake events.By collecting waveform data from 38 stations in the Heilongjiang Seismic Network,we calculated azimuth deviations using tangential energy minimum method.The results revealed significant variations in azimuth deviations among different stations in the Heilongjiang region,with some stations showing substantial deviations reaching up to 68.9°.The azimuth deviation results obtained in this study provide a basis for the azimuth correction of stations in the Heilongjiang Seismic Network and help improve the reliability of seismic monitoring data.关键词
