An Interpretation of"Jiu Feng"Proposed in Huang Di Nei Jing Based on Diabetic Sweating Abnormality

Abstract
Jiu(Liquor)is one of the thirteen prescriptions illustrated in Huang Di Nei Jing,and the ancients usually used it as a pre-ventive and therapeutic use of diseases.At the same time,a variety of diseases can also be obtained due to improper drinking of liquor,such as"Jiu Feng"discribed in Huang Di Nei Jing.The main pathogenesis of"Jiu Feng"is that the Middle Jiao(Earth Element)is blockage induces internal Heat,and the opened pores induces body Fluids leakage;at the same time,(Liver)Wood stagnation induces Fire.Since the Liver and Spleen are in the Middle Jiao,the stagnant Heat within which burns the Lung and the Lung is connected to the skin and fine hair,which causes the body Fluids leakage as sweat.Over time,the Spleen is further damaged,which cause greater sweat leakage.Therefore,when treating diabetic dyphorrhea with a history of alcohol consumption,the disease related to alcohol should be con-sidered,rather than simply thinking that it is only diabetic dyshidrosis.Therefore,in traditional Chinese medicine treatment practice,it is necessary to"treat according to the person"and"treat according to the cause",and discuss the cause of diabetes and treat the com-bined sweating syndrome symptomatically,so as to achieve the expected curative effect.关键词
