摘要

Abstract

To reduce the impact of surface electromagnetic interference with the observation environment,borehole georesistivity observation has been developed in China.In borehole georesistivity observation,the underground cable is the crucial pathway connecting the underground electrodes and instrument.Its insulation performance directly affects the reliability of the observation data.By investigating the ratio of grounding resistance to the sum of grounding resistance and insulation resistance,curves of the ratio varying with depth and the absolute values of curve extremes are obtained.A comparison between the measured grounding resistance,insulation resistance and the absolute extreme values allows a rapid judgment on whether the insulation performance of downhole cables affects the observations.Meanwhile,based on the measurement data from the Linze Geoelectric Observation Station in Gaoyou,the performance of its downhole cables is analyzed,and the reliability of the proposed rapid judgment method is verified.This study provides reference and support for the subsequent analysis of cable insulation performance,operation and maintenance of observation devices,as well as anomaly tracking and judgment at downhole georesistivity stations.
