Analysis on dynamic water level variation of Huichang well

Abstract
Anomaly verification is a crucial method for effectively identifying and eliminating interference,thereby determining whether changes in geophysical observations are seismic precursor anomalies.It provides a scientific basis for earthquake tracking and trend analysis.From September 25 to October 9,2023,the dynamic water level of the Huichang well at the Ganzhou Earthquake Monitoring Center Station showed a sharp decline followed by a rise,with synchronous variations in well water discharge and radon concentration.Through inspection of the observation system and surrounding environment at the Ganzhou Earthquake Monitoring Center Station,comparative analysis of dynamic water level with rainfall,atmospheric pressure,well water discharge,radon concentration and other observation items,as well as hydrochemical tests on well water and surrounding surface water samples,combined with comprehensive analysis of historical data and surrounding geophysical observation data,it is concluded that the dynamic water level variation of Huichang well was caused by interference from the fault maintenance of the mercury vapor monitor in the same well,rather than an earthquake precursor anomaly.关键词
