Numerical Simulation Study on NOx Emission Characteristics of CFB Boilers Based on Gas Recirculation

Abstract
In order to deal with the problem of excessive NOx emission during CFB boilers deep peak shaving,the effects of flue gas recirculation on NOx emission and combustion in CFB boiler were studied by CFD method,focusing on the temperature distribution,the oxygen concentration distribution and the NO concentration distribution in the furnace,as well as the CO emission concentration at the outlet of the boiler and the net emission value of the residual carbon in fly ash.The analysis results show that flue gas recirculation reduces the flue gas temperature in the furnace,while the NO generation concentration and the fuel burnout rate also decrease with the increase in the amount of recirculated flue gas.When the flue gas recirculation rate was 16.6%(corresponding to an oxygen concentration of 15.7%in the fluidizing air),the optimal balance between low nitrogen emissions and high burnout rate was achieved.Under these conditions,the NOx emission concentration at the furnace outlet was less than 50 mg/m3,while a high burnout rate was maintained.The findings of this study can provide a theoretical reference for the application of flue gas recirculation technology in CFB boilers.关键词
