数字乡村建设赋能农民增收:测度、效应与作用机制
Effects of Digital Rural Development on Farmer's Income Growth:Measurement,Effects,and Mechanisms

Abstract
Accelerating digital rural development to increase farmers'income has become an im-portant pathway for advancing comprehensive rural revitalization in the new era.Utilizing survey data from the National Fixed Observation Points for Rural Areas in 2019 and 2020,this study measures the level of digital rural development at the village level and examines its impact on farmers'income growth and the underlying mechanisms.The findings reveal that digital rural development effectively promotes farmer income growth,and this conclusion remains robust after instrumental variable estimation and a se-ries of robustness tests.Mechanism analysis indicates that digital rural construction primarily promotes in-come growth by expanding the scale of rural industries and optimizing the allocation of factor resources.Specifically,it enhances the vitality of rural industrial development,increases the density of business enti-ties in the secondary and tertiary sectors,promotes off-farm employment,and alleviates household con-sumption credit constraints.Heterogeneity analysis reveals that the income-enhancing effects vary across rural households.Compared with other households,these effects are more pronounced for households with less-educated heads,average social capital,as well as for those located in villages with medium-to-low economic development levels and in the central and western regions.Based on these findings,the study proposes policy recommendations for promoting farmers'income growth through digital rural de-velopment from three aspects:differentiated policy measures,strengthened digital development momen-tum,and improved digital financial services.关键词
