数字化赋能如何影响农户农药减量?
The Effect of Digital Empowerment on Farmers'Pesticide Reduction

Abstract
Pesticide reduction is an important part in promoting high-quality agricultural develop-ment in China.Climate change has altered pest and disease patterns,weakening the effectiveness of farm-ers'tacit knowledge accumulated through experience and intergenerational transmission.Digital technolo-gies and infrastructure have created new channels for farmers to acquire knowledge,providing favorable conditions for production decisions that balance economic efficiency and ecological sustainability.Taking agricultural pesticide application as an example,this paper uses the questionnaire survey data of 1850 rice farmers in major rice producing area of Hubei Province to examine the effect of digital empowerment on farmers'pesticide reduction and its mechanism.The results are as follows:1)Both dimensions of digital empowerment——digital resource endowment and digital usage capability——significantly reduce farm-ers'pesticide use.2)Digital empowerment promotes pesticide reduction mainly through two mecha-nisms:improving farmers'human capital in self-service scenarios and encouraging mechanization-related roundabout investment under endowment constraints.3)Moderate-scale farming and larger plot sizes strengthen the positive effect of digital empowerment on pesticide reduction.Accordingly,the govern-ment should not only increase investment in rural digital infrastructure construction,but also improve farmers'digital literacy and digital skills so as to overcome the limitations caused by the declining effec-tiveness of traditional tacit knowledge and facilitate pesticide reduction in agriculture,thereby providing key support for high-quality agricultural development.关键词
