辣椒黄化突变体表型鉴定及光合生理差异分析
Phenotypic Identification and Photosynthetic Physiological Differences of a Yellow Leaf Mutant of Capsicum annuum L.

Abstract
The Capsicum annuum L.variety'YD5'and its yellow leaf mutant YD5-70 induced by ethyl methanesulfonate(EMS)mutagenesis were characterized in the phenotypic,cellular,and physiological dimensions to clarify the mutation characteristics.The results showed that at the seedling stage and peak fruiting stage,YD5-70 had significantly lower plant height,stem diameter,leaf length,and leaf width than'YD5'.In terms of fruit traits,YD5-70 had significantly lighter and yellowish fruit color,and its fruit length,fruit width,and fruit stalk length were all lower than those of'YD5',while the differences were not significant.Observation of cell structure revealed that YD5-70 presented looser arrangement of cells and wider palisade tissue cells.Determination of photosynthetic characteristics showed that YD5-70 had significantly lower content of chlorophyll a,chlorophyll b,and total chlorophyll than'YD5',with the net photosynthetic rate,transpiration rate,intercellular CO2 concentration,and stomatal conductance being 54.93%,16.00%,75.52%,and 28.37%of those of'YD5',respectively.Observation of chloroplast ultrastructure indicated that the chloroplast membrane of YD5-70 was damaged,with abnormal grana thylakoid lamellae.This study clarified the mutation characteristics of the yellow leaf mutant YD5-70,providing a theoretical basis for the genetic improvement and heterosis utilization of C.annuum.关键词
