Paleoproterozoic tectonic-magmatic evolution in the nucleus of the Yangtze Craton

Abstract
The Huangling Dome exposed in the nucleus of the Yangtze Craton is an ideal window for ex-ploring the formation and evolution in the Precambrian continental crust of the craton.This paper summarized the research achievement on zircon U-Pb geochronology,Hf isotope and geochemical features of the Paleoprotero-zoic magmatic rocks in the nucleus of the Yangtze Craton,and discussed the nature,petrogenesis and tectonic set-ting of these rocks,so as to constrain the geodynamic and tectonic evolution processes in the nucleus of the Yangtze Craton during Paleoproterozoic.It is concluded that the Paleoproterozoic tectonic-magmatic evolution can be divided into four processes,namely the subduction and accretion,uplift and erosion,high-grade metamor-phism,and orogenic collapse,which are associated with three stages:oceanic subduction,arc-continent collision,and post-collisional extension.关键词
