New quality productivity empowers forestry modernization:realistic needs,mechanism of action and implementation pathways

Abstract
Advancing forestry modernization is a key task in building an ecological civilization system and achieving high-quality development.Although China's forestry sector has generally transitioned from quantity expansion to quality improvement,there are still evident bottlenecks in production methods,industrial chain structure,digital infrastructure and talent supply,making it difficult to meet the demands of the new development stage for green efficiency,intelligent precision,and value-added production.New quality productivity,characterized by innovation-driven growth,digital empowerment and green orientation,provides a systematic solution to these challenges.Based on the development needs of forestry modernization,this paper identifies the main constraints in current forestry development,analyzes the intrinsic mechanism of new quality productivity in reshaping production methods,extending the industrial value chain,enhancing technological supply capacity and optimizing talent structures,and proposes policy recommendations such as strengthening digital infrastructure,advancing the leapfrog development of green industries,reinforcing the innovation system and building a composite talent pool.This paper concludes that systematically restructuring the forestry production and industrial systems under the guidance of new quality productivity is a crucial pathway to achieving forestry modernization and provides solid ecological support for the Chinese path to modernization.关键词
