Abstract
Fibroblast growth factor receptor 2(FGFR2)is an important molecular target whose abnormal expres-sion is closely linked to the occurrence,progression,and poor prognosis of gastric cancer(GC).This review summa-rizes research progress on pathological detection methods,result interpretation,and expression profiles of FGFR2 in gastric cancer.Immunohistochemistry(IHC),fluorescence in situ hybridization(FISH),quantitative polymerase chain reaction(qPCR),and next-generation sequencing(NGS)are commonly used detection techniques,which can accurate assessment of FGFR2 expression and genetic alterations.In addition,FGFR2 has shown therapeutic potential as a target in clinical studies.Future research should focus on optimizing detection and treatment strategies to enhance the clinical utility of FGFR2-targeted therapy.关键词
