Activating Endogenous Growth:How New Quality Productive Forces Propel the Integrated Development of Specialty Agriculture in Southwest Border Regions

Abstract
Developing characteristic agriculture is a crucial approach for border areas to leverage their resource advan-tages.Existing research has affirmed the positive role of cultivating new-quality productive forces in high-quality agri-cultural development.However,there has been no systematic exploration on how and in what dimensions new-quality productive forces promote industrial integration in characteristic agriculture.This study attempts to utilize the Technolo-gy-Organization-Environment(TOE)framework,taking the development practice of characteristic agriculture in the border areas of Guangxi as a typical case.Through field research and policy text analysis,it delves into the action path of new-quality productive forces driving the integrated development of characteristic agriculture.The research findings are as follows:Firstly,around the integrated development of characteristic agriculture,the border areas of Guangxi have achieved interactive coupling between new-quality productive forces and the development of characteristic agriculture in the border areas through external support measures such as technical assistance,policy guidance,and digital empower-ment.Secondly,new-quality productive forces are not simply inputted;rather,they gradually transform exogenous inter-ventions into endogenous local capabilities through technological integration,organizational reconstruction,and environ-mental reshaping.Thirdly,with the intervention of new-quality productive forces,characteristic agriculture in the border areas achieves transformation of production modes through technological breakthroughs,and forms an indus-trial collaboration mechanism jointly built by the government,enterprises,and farmers,collectively promoting the transformation of characteristic agriculture in the border areas from single production to integrated development.关键词
