Abstract
Taking Jacaranda mimosifolia as the research material, the macroscopic and microscopic structures were observed and studied using biological microscopes and digital microscopes. The results indicated that J.mimosifolia exhibited a yellowish-white to grayish-brown coloration, soft and lightweight texture, straight grain, and easy workability, making it suitable for furniture materials. The wood was diffuse-porous with obvious growth ring boundaries.Vessel groupings primarily consisted of solitary pores and short radial multiple pores(2-3 cells).Vessel elements featured simple perforation plates, alternate intervessel pitting, and distinct bordered vessel-ray pitting across entire ray cells, with no helical thickening observed.Axial parenchyma was abundant, predominantly exhibiting aliform,lozenge-aliform,and confluent types, arranged in narrow bands or lines up to three cells wide, with per parenchyma strands composed of(3-4 cells).Wood fibers were mainly fiber tracheids, lacking septate fibers.Wood rays were non-storied,predominantly uniseriate, with multiseriate rays mostly two cells wide, and all ray cells procumbent. The wood of J.mimosifolia can be identified and recognized by identifying the main characteristic codes of the wood, such as 1p,13p,22p,27p,30p,61p,66p,69p,80p,82p,83p,86p,92p,96p,104p and 194p.关键词
