Study on the Transfer Path of Net Grey Water Footprint in Urumqi-Changji-Shihezi Urban Agglomeration Based on MRIO
摘要
Abstract
The Urumqi-Changji-Shihezi urban agglomeration, located in the arid oasis area,is facing an extremely scarce water resource situ-ation and an increasing demand for environmental water.Based on the multi-regional input-output table,an environmental multi-regional input-output model was constructed to reveal the impact of product and service trade on the environmental water use of the urban agglomera-tion through the grey water footprint transfer path of Urumqi-Changji-Shihezi urban agglomeration. The results show that:The multi-year aver-age grey water footprint of the Urumqi-Changji-Shihezi urban agglomeration reaches 37.6 billion cubic meters, exerting significant impacts on the water environment. However,it is on a decreasing trend and is much lower than the consumption grey water footprint. The first industry has the largest grey water footprint inflow, which can effectively alleviate the pressure on environmental water and water resources. The net grey water footprint inflow from other regions within Xinjiang to the Urumqi-Changji-Shihezi urban agglomeration is much higher than that from regions outside Xinjiang, indicating that the pressure on environmental water use is mainly within Xinjiang.Within the Urumqi-Changji-Shihezi urban agglomeration, the net grey water footprint is mainly transferred from Changji to Urumqi, and the net inflow and outflow of grey water footprint are mainly in Urumqi and Changji respectively.Shihezi has evolved from net inflow to net outflow. The economic development of Urumqi indirectly occupies the environmental water of Changji and Shihezi.关键词
