通辽市某医院10～30岁住院患者急性中毒的流行病学特征分析
Analysis of Epidemiological Characteristics of Acute Poisoning in Hospitalized Patients Aged 10-30 Years in a Hospital in Tongliao City

Abstract
This study aimed to analyze the epidemiological characteristics of acute poisoning among inpatients aged 10-30 years in Tongliao City,and to provide a scientific basis for developing targeted prevention and intervention measures.A retrospective study was conducted using medical records of 210 inpatients aged 10-30 years with acute poisoning admitted to the Affiliated Hospital of Inner Mongolia Minzu University between January 1,2023 and July 31,2025.Epidemiological descriptions and statistical analyses were performed on demographic characteristics,temporal distribution,poison types and so on.Among the 210 patients,138(65.7%)were female and 72(34.3%)were male;adolescents aged 15 to 19 years accounted for the highest proportion(102 cases,48.6%).Occupations were mainly stu-dents(100 cases,47.6%)and unemployed individuals(87 cases,41.4%).Drug overdose was the primary poisoning type(159 cases,75.7%),with psychotropic drugs accounting for the largest proportion(75/160,46.9%);Pesticide poi-soning occurred in 32 cases(15.2%),and poisoning by other chemicals in 19 cases(9.0%).Temporal distribution re-vealed that the nighttime(from 18:00 to 23:59)was the peak period for hospital admissions(88 cases,41.9%).The inter-group comparisons revealed there were statistically significant differences in the distribution of poisoning types among patients of different genders and age groups(P＜0.05).The high-risk characteristics of acute poisoning among hospitalized patients aged 10-30 years in Tongliao City are young women,students,and unemployed teenagers.Over-dose of psychotropic drugs and pesticide poisoning are the two major focuses for prevention and control.Attention should be paid to the mental health of high-risk groups,drug supervision,and pesticide safety management.关键词
