Abstract
The dynamic distribution of anode mud particles in the electrolyte during the electrolytic refining of copper nitrate has an important influence on the process efficiency and copper cathode purity.In this study,the particle counter was used to monitor the particle number distribution in real time at different electrolysis times,and the number of suspended anode mud particles increased significantly with the extension of electrolysis time.The results show that the accumulation of fine particles not only increases the electrolyte viscosity,but also may lead to defects on the cathode surface and reduce the copper purity.Filtration has limited effect on the removal of fine particles.This study provides theoretical and technical support for optimising the copper nitrate electrolysis process and improving the purification measures to inhibit the generation of anode sludge and enhance the product quality.关键词
