摘要

Abstract

Plantation forests play a vital role in assuring timber supply,maintaining ecological balance,and driving regional economic growth,occupying an important status during global forestry development.As the demands for timber resources escalate,the high-density cultivation model of plantation forest has become a key pathway to mitigate timber supply-demand imbalances,which significantly enhances timber yield per unit area by optimizing stand spatial structure.However,widespread adoption of the model is challenged by ecological risks and uncertainty in density defining thresholds.This paper analyzes the plantation forest management effects under the high-density cultivation model in terms of biomass accumulation patterns,timber quality trade-offs,economic benefits and carbon sequestration potentials,and analyzes its key influence factors from the four dimensions of genetic traits,silvicultural objectives,site resource carrying capacity,and water-fertilizer management technology.The future development direction of this cultivation model is discussed,with the aim to achieve the comprehensive plantation forest management goal of"high yield-high efficiency-sustainability".
