Abstract
Objective:To investigate the efficacy and safety of bleomycin injection combined with balloon dilation in the treatment of postoperative anastomotic stricture in colorectal cancer. Methods:A retrospective analysis was performed on the clinical data of 90 patients with benign postoperative anastomotic stricture after colorectal cancer surgery, who were admitted to The Second Affiliated Hospital of Shantou University Medical College from January 2021 to December 2023.According to the treatment regimen, patients were divided into a combined treatment group(bleomycin injection combined with balloon dilation,n=42)and a simple dilation group(n=48).The short-term(3 months post-treatment)and long-term(1 year post-treatment)success rates,stricture-free survival period, number of dilations required within one year, and complication rates were compared between the two groups. Results:The baseline characteristics of the two groups were comparable(all P>0.05).The combined treatment group showed a significantly higher short-term success rate than the simple dilation group(85.7%vs.47.9%,P<0.001),a longer median stricture-free survival period(5.0 months vs.3.0 months,P<0.001),and required fewer dilations within one year[(1.98±0.68)times vs.(3.10±1.37)times,P<0.001].There were no statistically significant differences between the two groups in terms of long-term success rate(23.8%vs.14.6%)or overall complication rate(9.5%vs.8.3%)(all P>0.05).Conclusion:Bleomycin injection combined with balloon dilation can improve the short-term efficacy, prolong the stricture-free survival period, and reduce the number of treatments for postoperative anastomotic stricture in colorectal cancer, without increasing treatment risks. It is a safe and effective enhanced treatment strategy.关键词
