Research Progress in Effects of Nitrogen Addition on Soil Phosphorus Fractions in Forest Plantations

Abstract
Phosphorus is a key limiting nutrient for plant growth in terrestrial ecosystems,particularly evident in highly weathered tropical and subtropical forests.Under the background of increasing nitrogen deposition globally,how to efficiently utilize the potential phosphorus source in soil has become a research hotspot to improve the productivity and ecological function of forest plantations.Understanding the effects of nitrogen addition on soil phosphorus components is of great significance for clarifying the mechanism of phosphorus cycle in forest plantations,evaluating its sustainability and guiding scientific management.This paper reviews the effects of nitrogen addition on soil phosphorus fractions and its driving mechanism,and introduces the application of Hedley phosphorus classification system to the characterization of soil phosphorus forms.The findings demonstrate that nitrogen addition mainly regulates soil labile phosphorus and moderately available phosphorus,and has a limited effect on difficult-to-use phosphorus.This process is driven by multiple mechanisms:at the abiotic level,nitrogen input causes soil acidification and changes the adsorption-desorption equilibrium of phosphorus by iron-aluminum oxides;at the biological level,the imbalance of nitrogen and phosphorus stoichiometry induces the transformation of microbial community structure and function,and phosphate-solubilizing microorganisms and mycorrhizal fungi regulate the spatial and temporal distribution of phosphorus through enzymatic reaction and mycelial expansion.Plants form synergistic interactions with microorganisms through active pathways such as community regeneration and succession,root strategy adjustment,secretion release,and root enzyme secretion,and jointly drive the activation and transformation of rhizosphere phosphorus.Future research will focus on how to optimize the simulation method of nitrogen deposition,analyze the mechanism of phosphorus cycling on aggregate scale,and explore the functional genes of phosphorus metabolism,so as to provide a scientific basis for the soil phosphorus management of forest plantation and sustainable forest management under the background of nitrogen deposition.关键词
