Zhan Libin's experience in treating senile cervical cancer based on Zhou Shenzhai's"twenty-six-character key mechanism"

Abstract
This paper introduces Professor Zhan Libin's experience in treating senile cervical cancer based on Zhou Shenzhai's"twenty-six-character key mechanism".It is held that the pathogenesis and therapeutic principles of senile cervical cancer closely follow the logic of Shenzhai's"key mechanism":the root cause lies in the deficiency of the five zang-organs,with the spleen and kidney being the primary targets of the deficiency;the manifestation is the stagnation of phlegm-dampness and blood stasis,which obstructs the uterus;the consequent result is the internal generation of cancer,which consumes and deprives the essence and blood.In clinical practice,the diagnostic thinking of"verification"and"exploration"runs through the entire process of disease and syndrome differentiation.The treatment is mainly characterized by:consolidating the root by tonifying the spleen and kidney and regulating the five zang-organs;eliminating pathogens by purging excess to remove substantial pathogenic factors;assisting with integrated concomitant treatment to address both the root and manifestations for mutual synergy;and supplementing with gentle regulation and nursing to harmonize both the body and spirit for comprehensive treatment.One clinical case is attached for reference.关键词
