滋阴通络方治疗原发性干燥综合征阴虚络滞证的临床观察
Clinical observation of treatment of primary Sjögren syndrome with yin deficiency and meridian obstruction syndrome by Ziyin Tongluo Decoction

Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of Ziyin Tongluo Decoction in treating primary Sjögren syndrome(PSS)with the syndrome of yin deficiency and meridian obstruction.Methods A random number table method was adopted,where 62 patients with yin deficiency and meridian obstruction type PSS were randomly divided into the treatment group(31 patients)and the control group(31 patients).The treatment group was treated with oral Ziyin Tongluo Decoction and the control group was treated with oral hydroxychloroquine sulfate.Both groups received continuous treatment for 12 weeks.The clinical efficacy was observed.The changes in indicators such as dry mouth,dry eyes measured by the Visual Analog Scale(VAS),saliva flow rate,tear flow rate,the European League Against Rheumatism Sjögren Syndrome Patient Reported Index(ESSPRI)and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score before and after treatment were observed.Results After 12 weeks of treatment,the clinical efficacy of the treatment group was superior to that of the control group(P<0.05).The salivary flow rate and tear flow rate in the treatment group were both higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The VAS scores of dry mouth and dry eyes,the ESSPRI scores,and the TCM syndrome scores improvement were also better than those in the control group(P<0.05).No abnormal safety evaluation indicators were observed in either group.Conclusion The Ziyin Tongluo Decoction can significantly improve subjective symptoms such as dry mouth and dry eyes as well as saliva and tear secretion functions in PSS patients,showing better efficacy than oral hydroxychloroquine sulfate,with good safety.关键词
