Abstract

The Baishiling Tunnel,part of the natural gas pipeline adjustment project in Shenzhen's Baishiling Area,stands as the first full-face hard rock Tunnel Boring Machine(TBM)tunnel constructed specifically for oil and gas pipelines.It holds the distinctions of possessing the most complex construction environment,the greatest length,and the largest single-pipeline cross-section in the history of dedicated mountain pipeline tunnel construction.The project faced significant technical challenges,including an extremely sensitive environment and exceptionally complex geological conditions.To address these challenges,extensive technical research and innovative exploration were conducted during construction.This effort yielded a series of key innovative design technologies for long-distance oil and gas pipeline TBM tunnels,including hexagonal self-locking segment design,pipeline installation design for ultra-long tunnels,intelligent pipeline inspection design,and the development and integration of an operational safety monitoring system,collectively filling a technological gap in the application of TBMs for long-distance oil and gas pipeline projects.The successful commissioning of the tunnel validates the feasibility and scientific rigor of these innovative engineering technologies,providing valuable reference for future oil and gas pipeline tunnel construction.
