Trends and prospects of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine in the prevention and treatment of chronic cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases
摘要
Abstract
Chronic cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases,characterized by their prolonged course and difficulty in achieving a cure,have become a major public health issue in China and worldwide.Against the backdrop of an aging population and shifting lifestyles,the incidence and mortality rates of these diseases continue to rise,imposing a heavy economic burden on both society and individuals.Under these circumstances,reliance solely on either Western medicine or Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)has proven insufficient,while an integrated model for prevention and treatment combining both systems demonstrates distinctive advantages.This model emphasizes synergistic intervention across the entire spectrum of disease prevention,treatment,and rehabilitation,guided by the integration of TCM's holistic philosophy and treatment based on syndrome differentiation with the principles of evidence-based and precision medicine from Western medicine.Focusing on the integrated TCM and Western medicine approach for chronic cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases,the article systematically analyzes current trends and discusses future prospects,aiming to provide a reference for building a more robust integrated prevention and treatment system.关键词
