Building Green Space Together:Practical Paths for Rural Ecological Revitalization on the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau from Roadology Perspective

Abstract
The unique ecological strategic importance of the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau dictates that its rural revitaliza-tion must prioritize ecological protection and adopt distinctive practical pathways.Drawing on"Roadology",this paper examines the Golmud-Tuotuohe section of the Qinghai-Xizang Highway as a research and observation area,focusing on the interactive relationship between rural ecological revitalization on the plateau and the construction of green cultural spaces along the highway.Through concrete analysis of the practices of key actors in rural revitalization—the government(as leader),local communities(as main actors),and non-governmental organizations(as participants in local environ-mental protection)—this study investigates how green-themed road signs and slogans are established,environmental con-cepts disseminated,and exemplary environmental behaviors promoted along the Qinghai-Xizang Highway.It reveals the construction of green cultural spaces along the highway,the diffusion of green cultural concepts via the highway in a"point-axis-area"pattern,and ecological practices characterized by mutual promotion and co-construction among"govern-ment leadership,social participation,and local agency."Such rural ecological practices,grounded in the green cultural space of the Qinghai-Xizang Highway,transcend the limitations of conventional village-and township-centered models,expand the theoretical implications of rural revitalization,and further highlight the distinctive characteristics of practical pathways for ecological revitalization on the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau.关键词
