Fuzzy Adaptive Control Strategy for Frequency in Power Systems With Wind,Solar,Thermal and Storage

Abstract
To address the frequency stability issue of power systems containing wind,solar thermal and storage,a frequency stability control strategy is proposed based on a fuzzy adaptive control method.First,through an in-depth analysis on the frequency dynamic response characteristics of the high-proportion new energy system,a frequency response model of the wind,solar,thermal and storage combined power system is established.The impact of inertial parameters of the new energy and frequency modulation distribution coefficients on system frequency stability is elucidated.Subsequently,based on the frequency modulation distribution coefficient and inertia parameters,an adaptive control strategy is developed for parameters in both wind,solar and thermal dispatching and wind,solar and storage unit layers.Based on this,a fuzzy inference system of resource(FISRES)controller and a fuzzy inference system of PID(FISPID)controller are designed.Finally,a comprehensive inertia frequency response model for wind,solar and thermal storage is established in MATLAB/Simulink to verify the improvement effect of the proposed fuzzy adaptive control strategy on frequency response.The simulation results demonstrate that the proposed fuzzy adaptive control strategy can not only provide substantial active power support to new energy units during the early stage of frequency regulation,but also significantly enhance the response speed and stability of the system frequency in various operating conditions.关键词
