Research on the Inversion of Road Disease Performance Based on Cross-scale Stress Distribution

Abstract
Due to the influence of traffic loads and environmental factors,asphalt pavements are prone to developing cracks,rutting,and stripping during their service life,among which cracking significantly deteriorates surface smoothness and structural bearing capacity.Fracture mechanics theory has been widely applied in the study of crack evolution in asphalt pavements.However,the conventional experimental approaches are often limited by complex equipment,high costs,and the absence of unified standards.In recent years,the extended finite element method(XFEM)has been increasingly applied to investigate fracture problems,improving the predictive accuracy of crack propagation modeling in asphalt pavements.But the existing studies still have deficiencies in considering material nonlinearity,anisotropy,and multi-field coupling effects.In this study,a two-dimensional numerical model com-posed of asphalt surface layer,asphalt-stabilized macadam base and compacted soil subgrade was developed by ABAQUS based on XFEM theory.Distinct material properties were assigned to each layer.The maximum principal stress failure criterion and load were set.By XFEM and partition of unity method(PUM),the propagation patterns and directions of both top-down and bottom-up cracks were analyzed,and the distribution of von Mises stress at and around the crack tip was analyzed.The results reveal the stress-strain distribution characteristics after crack initia-tion and the corresponding crack propagation mechanisms.关键词
