神经肌电图在2型糖尿病患者周围神经病变早期诊断及病情进展评估中的价值分析

Abstract
Objective To analyze the application value of electromyography in the early diagnosis and progression assessment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy(DPN)in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM).Methods A total of 168 T2DM patients admitted to our hospital from January 2024 to June 2025 were selected and divided into the observation group(98 cases,with DPN)and the control group(70 cases,without DPN)based on the presence of DPN.Additionally,84 healthy individuals undergoing physical examinations in our hospital during the same period were selected as the healthy group.All participants underwent electromyography examination.The motor nerve conduction velocity(MNCV)and sensory nerve conduction velocity(SNCV)of the median nerve,ulnar nerve,and common peroneal nerve were measured and compared among the three groups.Receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curves were plotted to analyze the value of electromyography parameters in diagnosing DPN of T2DM patients.Furthermore,DPN patients were subdivided into the symptomatic group(56 cases)and the asymptomatic group(42 cases)based on the presence of symptoms,and electromyography parameters were detected and compared between the two groups.Results Compared with the control group and the healthy group,the MNCV and SNCV of each nerve in the observation group were lower(P<0.05).ROC curve analysis showed that the area under the curve of the combined use of the MNCV and SNCV of the median,ulnar,and common peroneal nerves in the diagnosis of DPN in T2DM patients was higher than that of each indicator alone(P<0.05).Compared with the asymptomatic group,the MNCV and SNCV of each nerve in the symptomatic group were lower(P<0.05).Conclusions Electromyography can effectively diagnose DPN in T2DM patients and also provide good assessment of disease progression,demonstrating certain application value.关键词
