The Commodity View with Chinese Characteristics Under the Perspective of New Quality Productive Forces:Constructing Iconic Concepts for Autonomous Knowledge System

Abstract
Modern commodity theory,rooted in instrumental rationality and dominated by the West,claims to adopt a holistic perspective but essentially remains within an anthropocentric analytical framework.It struggles to meet the demands of new quality productive forces development.Specifically,it fails to transcend the singular material function of commodity supply-demand matching,thereby hindering value co-creation within commercial ecosystems and sustainable development.There is an urgent need to explore a path for the autonomous knowledge system of Chinese economics that is practice-oriented,systemically holistic,and contextually adaptable,and to construct a Chinese-specific commodity theory.This research employs the coding techniques in the Chinese Management Zhagen Research Paradigm,taking classic commercial ancient books from successive dynasties as the main qualitative data to identify and extract iconic concepts from ancient commodity practice.Integrating with the traditional Chinese theory of the three Sancai(Heaven,Earth,and Humanity),this research ultimately synthesizes the model of Chinese characteristic commodity view into four dimensions:the commodity virtue of balancing righteousness and profit,the commodity utility of utilization for practical purposes,the commodity quality of combining firmness and flexibility,and the commodity implication of enduring and timeless value.These dimensions are conducted a comparative analysis with modern commodity theories and ESG concepts.The research not only overcomes the mechanical reduction limitations of existing commodity theories but also builds a localized commodity view theoretical model under the context of new quality productive forces.It also offers valuable insights for enterprises on how to conduct commodity practices to promote the development of new quality productive forces.关键词
