The Value Implications and Requirements of the Times for the Construction of Cultural Subjectivity in the Theoretical System of Chinese-Style Modernization

Abstract
Cultural subjectivity refers to the distinctive cultural characteristics and value attributes forged by a nation through its cultural creation.The theoretical system of Chinese-style modernization exhibits strong cultural subjectivity.The narrative logic of the binary opposi-tion between tradition and modernity in Western modernization theories,the dissolution of cultural subjectivity in the Latin American and So-viet models of modern state-building,and the severe crises and predicaments faced by the cultural subjectivity of the Chinese nation amid the internal and external turmoil of modern China all demonstrate that cultural subjectivity constitutes a fundamental issue bearing on the fu-ture and destiny of human modernization.Cultural subjectivity has solidified the historical and cultural foundation of the theoretical system of Chinese-style modernization,injected strong spiritual impetus into enhancing identification with this theoretical system,and provided a cru-cial cultural solution to the developmental challenges of human civilization.On the new journey,we should fully draw upon the great value of the"two combinations,"strengthen the national cultural security barrier,and enhance international communication capacity,so as to con-struct and consolidate the cultural subjectivity of the theoretical system of Chinese-style modernization through new theoretical and cultural innovation,thereby further enriching and developing the theoretical form of Chinese-style modernization.关键词
