Abstract
To explore the causes, patterns of mastitis in dairy cows and its impact on reproductive performance, this study conducted a follow-up investigation and analysis on 858 dairy cows. The overall incidence rate of mastitis in dairy cows was 42.89%,among which the culling rate was 0.47%and the mortality rate was 0.23%.The incidence rate of perinatal dairy cows increased significantly, reaching 51.43%(P<0.05),and decreased significantly in the later lactation period, reaching 27.40%(P<0.05).With the increase of parity and milk production, the incidence of mastitis showed a significant upward trend(P<0.05).The incidence rate in autumn was significantly higher than that in other seasons,at 65.84%(P<0.05),and the incidence rate in spring dropped significantly to the lowest,at 16.84%(P<0.05).Mastitis significantly reduced the estrus rate, mating rate and conception rate of dairy cows(P<0.05).The results show that the onset of mastitis in dairy cows presents obvious physiological stages and seasonal patterns, and is closely related to parity and milk production. At the same time,it reduces the reproductive performance of dairy cows, thereby having an adverse impact on the economic benefits of dairy cow breeding.关键词
