定西市马铃薯种薯主要病毒病分布特征
Distribution Characteristics of Major Viral Diseases in Seed Potatoes in Dingxi City
摘要
Abstract
Dingxi City,Gansu Province is a key production base for seed potatoes in China.However,the long-term accumulation of viral diseases has severely constrained the quality of seed potatoes and the sustainable development of the industry.To investigate the occurrence of major viruses in the region,this study utilized reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR)to test six potato viruses,i.e.potato virus Y(PVY),potato leafroll virus(PLRV),potato virus M(PVM),potato virus S(PVS),potato virus A(PVA),and potato virus X(PVX),in 118 seed potato samples of different grades(pre-elite,elite,and qualified I)collected from different ecological regions.PVY had the highest detection rate(38.98%),followed by PVS(33.05%)and PVM(17.80%),while PVX was not detected.Mixed infections were also observed,with the highest dual infection rate of 6.78%,mainly involving combinations of PVY and PVS.Furthermore,it was found that the viral detection rate increased gradually with declining seed potato grade.This study would provide essential baseline data and technical support for potato virus prevention and control in Dingxi City,which holds significant importance for improving the quality of local seed potatoes and promoting the healthy development of the industry.关键词
