Abstract
Potato,as the fourth largest staple food in China,is of significant strategic importance in ensuring food security and promoting rural revitalization.As the"Potato Capital of China",Ulanqab City boasts a solid foundation for its potato industry.However,compared to other major advantageous production regions in China,there remains room for improvement in terms of quality segmentation and industrial chain extension.In this study,Dingxi City in Gansu Province,Zhaotong City in Yunnan Province,and Weining County in Guizhou Province were selected as comparative samples,and quality differences across three dimensions-appearance,nutrition,and safety were systematically compared.Additionally,core issues was identified based on the current status of the industry.Ulanqab City potatoes exhibit high dry matter and protein contents.However,the industry faces challenges such as a homogeneous variety structure,insufficient deep processing capabilities,and a lag in the transformation of scientific and technological achievements.Therefore,Ulanqab City should leverage its inherent quality advantages to optimize the variety structure and enhance differentiated competitiveness and extend the industrial chain to increase added value.The aim is to shift from a"yield advantage"to"quality and brand advantages",thereby consolidating its status as the"Potato Capital of China"and contribute to rural revitalization.关键词
