摘要

Abstract

As a unique ruminant species on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau,the yak possesses dual value in both ecological protection and livelihood economy.Its meat,characterized by high protein and low fat,has significant market potential.However,under traditional grazing conditions,nutritional imbalance leads to slow growth and coarse meat texture,which restrict industrial upgrading.Therefore,precise nutritional intervention has become the key to breaking this bottleneck.Studies have shown that rumen-protected lysine(RP-Lys)and rumen-protected methionine(RP-Met)can improve nitrogen utilization efficiency,optimize rumen fermentation patterns,enhance meat color,tenderness,and nutritional density,and regulate the expression of genes related to muscle development to improve muscle fiber structure,thereby showing multiple advantages in meat quality enhancement.This paper briefly describes the characteristics of amino acid metabolism in ruminants and the problem of supply-demand imbalance of limiting amino acids,introduces the principles and types of rumen-protected amino acid(RPAA)protection technologies,reviews the current application status of RP-Lys and RP-Met in ruminants,and summarizes the effects of RP-Lys and RP-Met on yak growth performance,rumen fermentation parameters,muscle sensory quality,nutritional composition,and muscle fiber structure.The aim of this paper is to provide a reference for systematically analyzing the application value of RP-Lys and RP-Met in yak production.
