A review of current prevalence,risk factors,and interventions on suicide attempts
摘要
Abstract
Suicide attempts(SA)are strongest predictor for suicide.Understanding the prevalence,risk fac-tors,and interventions of SA is crucial for reducing suicide rates.This review synthesizes current findings on the prevalence and distribution of suicide attempts,associated risk factors,and advances in intervention.Some studies suggest that females have a higher risk of SA than males,and adolescents and low socioeconomic groups are at higher risk.Risk factors include behavioral lifestyle,family,psychological,chronic diseases,and biological fac-tors.Psychosocial interventions,brief contact,and digital interventions are gradually showing effectiveness,cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapy could prevent the risk of SA recurrence,and multilevel integrated interventions are recommended for prevention of SA.关键词
