Abstract
The prevalence of cardiovascular diseases has been continuously increasing and it is a significant disease threatening the health of residents in our country.The retinal vessels are a window into the human microvascular system,and the changes in their structure and function can reflect the state of the systemic microvasculature.Through the combination of modern fundus imaging techniques with the holistic concept and the principles of syndrome differentiation and treatment in traditional Chinese medicine,it is conducive to the early diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.Based on the theory of'the retinal vessels belong to the heart'in traditional Chinese medicine,this article explores the relationship between cardiovascular system diseases and retinal vascular diseases,providing a reference for the cross-disciplinary research in traditional Chinese medicine ophthalmology and cardiovascular diseases.关键词
