Discussion on the Treatment of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome from the Perspective of Epigenetics Based on the Theory of"Mutual Reinforcement between the Spleen and Kidney"
摘要
Abstract
Polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS)is a common endocrine and metabolic disorder in women of childbearing age.Its pathogenesis is complex and closely related to heredity and environment,that is,epigenetic pathogenesis.DNA methylation,histone modification and non-coding RNA are involved in the occurrence and development of PCOS by regulating the reproductive metabolic axis."Mutual reinforcement between the spleen and kidney"refers to that the spleen and kidney are the foundation of congenital and postnatal,and are in dynamic balance with each other.Based on the theory of"mutual reinforcement between the spleen and kidney",this article discussed the pathogenesis of PCOS from the perspective of epigenetics,and believed that the kidney is the congenital origin corresponding to the heritability of epigenetics,and the spleen is the acquired origin corresponding to the modifiability of epigenetics,so as to jointly maintain reproductive and metabolic functions.In terms of treatment,tonifying kidney and benefiting essence can correct the epigenetic abnormalities of gametes,while invigorating spleen and supporting earth can reverse the metabolic related epigenetic modifications.The two synergistically affect the epigenetic reversibility and reshape the balance of"harmonious union of earth and water".关键词
